Hi Yosi, Thank you for your message. You ask a good question. In response, there is no way to 100% guarantee that you will be able to keep your Green Card if you live outside of the US. However, one action that you can take which should greatly help you is to obtain a reentry permit. A reentry permit is a travel document issued by the US Government which essentially lets you remain outside the US for up to 2 years without losing your Green Card. You have the possibility of obtaining additional reentry permits after the first one. However, each reentry permit requires a separate application that must be approved, and each application requires your physical presence in the US.
